MEET OUR LOCAL ORGANISING COMMITTEE
Our Challenge organising committee is the engine that drives the SPAR Women’s Challenge every year and they are so excited to welcome you all back to SuperSport Park in person. This amazing group of people embody what it means to serve with a smile and we asked them what motivates them to get out of bed with a smile every morning.
Smiling is therapy. A smile attracts goodness and warmth, and fills us with happiness. Exercising and a change of lifestyle makes me smile.
Life! I woke up and got to do something I love, I have parents and a brother, I have a roof over my head, I am able to work and I have food to eat. I am grateful to be alive.
Wine and family and friends… A smile is infectious so if you smile then you make me laugh. My smile is found in the colour in the world around me.
I love nature and walking in nature brings a smile to my face!
I am grateful for my family, they are my smile.
I am so chuffed to be around and alive.
My grandchildren and pets are the sunshine in my life and bring a smile to my face.
Seeing women thrive in sport and in life is my reason to smile!
My 2 year old twin boys and my husband are my reasons to smile, they are the reason I am happy to be alive and healthy.
The men in my life are my reason to smile every day, my husband and my two sons as well as my cats.
Tree-therapy – hiking through nature and being surrounded by trees and the outdoors brings me peace and joy.
The most important thing for me is to be able to share my life with my family and friends.
The blue sky, the birds that fly, and enjoying my life with my wonderful husband, children and grandchildren.
I smile when I witness someone who was hopeless achieve success in life!
